D-Day 50th Anniversary - June 1994.
Not a Wargames show as such, but the North Hull Wargames Club
recreating the D-Day Normandy landings. All five beachheads using
20mm scale figures, this is all one big game. At least 24 club
members took part over a whole weekend. Panzer Marsch! on the
grand scale using literally hundreds of figures, and hundreds
of vehicles. The Allies had to hit the beach and drive inland
across the second row of tables behind the German players by
late Sunday afternoon. In the foreground things aren't going
to plan for the U.S. Airborne commanders. |

Arnhem at "Partizan" - Newark 1993.
This is 1st Airborne at Arnhem using 20mm scale figures and
the old four sided quick reference sheet version of Panzer Marsch! |

The original 6mm terrain from around 1983-84.
An old image of the original 1:300th, 1:285th, 5mm, 6mm scale terrain.
It's too small to tell if a game was in progress when the shot was taken, but it's
on this terrain that Panzer Marsch! was developed in the early days. |
